Today, we had a meeting with core members of alumni from Hokkaido University in Zambia. Our director explained about new system launched by Global Relations Office, Hokkaido University in April 2016, called “Hokkaido University Ambassador and Partner System.” Its aim is to promote Hokkaido University, sustain and improve global network. So it requests alumni to support us as ‘Ambassador’ and ‘Partner.’
We, Hokkaido University Africa Lusaka Office, therefore, asked some of core alumni members in Zambia to be ‘Ambassador’ and ‘Partner.’ Since Hokkaido University and School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Zambia has sustained long and fruitful relationship, they cheerfully accepted to run this new scheme for exchange between alumni and home university. Through this system, we hope Ambassadors and Partners will be “a good pathway” to Hokkaido University from Zambia.
